Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow
“I am not afraid of Tomorrow for I have seen Yesterday and I love Today”
This time, I’m heeding their advices. LOL. ^^

A and B are best friends.
Both of them got lost together in a desert. They were tired and thirsty.
Suddenly, A saw an oasis from a distance away and hurried B towards it. Unfortunately, it ended up to be a mirage. B was so fustrated that he hit A. A was upset by B’s action that he wrote on the sands, “My best friend just hit me.”
Both men carried on walking.
A was starting to be disoriented. He stepped unknowningly into a quicksand and began to sink. B reached out and grabbed hold of A’s arm. B pulled with all his remaining strength and got A out of the quicksand. A was grateful that he picked up a stone and carved with a pocket knife, “My best friend just saved me.”
By then, B was puzzled by A’s actions and questioned A of the reason he wrote on the sands earlier. A replied that no matter how much hurt he felt at that moment, the pain will subside till nothing over time, just like how the wind will blow and even the dents on the sands.
Upon that, B asked A of the reason he carved on the stone later. A replied that no matter what had happened between both of them, B still treated A as someone important and did not hesitate to help him. A wanted to remember this gratitude forever.
Someone mentioned this to me at the shop today. My female partner took a while to digest but I knew the meaning of it deep inside me. No matter what has happened, it requires mutual understanding, trust and in this case, forgiveness from both parties to accomplish anything. There’s a lot of possibilities..what if A carved the stone in the first place or even didn’t carve the stone later or at all? What if B didn’t save A?
Helping a friend in need is a friend indeed. This will never go wrong.
