Well, I have been playing a game called Super Smash Brothers Brawl on Wii for these couple of weeks. It’s kinda of a sequel to Super Smash Melee on Gamecube with returning characters like Mario, Yoshi, Pikachu and more. Yup, it’s a fighting fiesta with many Nintendo popular characters.
Today, I brought this game to Zheng Xian’s house and the boys were glued to it like bees to honey. I would rather think it’s a form of relief from their O Level pressure that’s been building up inside them. We were laughing to our deaths or defeats most of the time and there was a particular match where I literally trashed them with a iron fan. Well, the random stage system actually picked up a custom stage which I built for getting music for the game. And I have only a small platform on it. What happened was that once I got the fan, I started whipping one of them. But since the stage is built mainly with conveyor belts turning towards the left, they kept getting pushed back to me. So, I trapped them with the fan whipping. It was so funny and I felt a form of sarcasm. I stood up and walked to and fro laughing and pretending to yawn while pressing the attack button. I laughed so much till I got a headache. LOL!
Actually, I’m supposed to help to fix one of the boys’ PSP. I excused myself to fix it while they continued playing. While working on it, I heard them laughing like crazy. Guess they never laugh so much before. By the time we were leaving, everyone were tired. Too much physical strength lost today. HA~
By the way, my bag broke while transporting the Wii around…so…since it’s coming…can I have one? LOL!
Well, not exactly I’m on an emotional drain but there were many instances yesterday.
The boys got their results back and one of them had an emotional breakdown. Well, he acted aloof and kept to himself at times, listening to his musics on his phone. This action shocked one of the boys and he messaged me for help. In the meanwhile, the last kid was pretty much okay till later…
It turns out that the boy had high expectations on his results and he flunked his English. Turns out that English is a killer this semester. The boy in shock passed his English but flunked 4 subjects. The last boy…I don’t expect him to be that hardworking…so…I guess the same situation befell on him. A fellow classmate comforted the “emo” boy in the end.
Then later in the day, they had a party organised by their CCA. After the event, on the way back home, the last boy was busy messaging on his phone. With every new message received, he slowed down his pace and his head held lower and lower. The other 2 boys were puzzled with the sudden change.
Whatever happened to the last boy…I can only know it later since I told the boy in shock to keep me informed. Well, the boys are having their O Level exams this year, thus bound to have sudden bursts of emotion. Hope they can take it well and get good results.
Hmm….i notice today’s entry kinda off topic. Well, I actually wanted to take about my views about the fugitive but since this blog is public, thus I shall keep to myself. Close friends may ask me for them. ^^
I’m a fan of Utada Hikaru and I followed her since her debut with “First Love”. Okay, I have to say that sound like a psychotic fan opening for this entry.
Well, her 5th album is releasing days before my birthday..*WINK*…and it’s called “Heart Station”. And the main song, of course, is a song called “Heart Station”. If you look at the lyrics of the song, you might wonder if she’s talking about her feelings after her divorce with her music video director husband. In a special introduction of the song, she said that the song brings the meaning that human love and feelings are like radio waves trying to reach out to each other.
For me, since I am her loyal fan from start, I found that the song is pretty back to her initial style during “First Love”. The song is very catchy and easy and I always have the song on repeat nowadays. The last time I had a song on repeat was Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” from Titanic.
Here’s the music video of “Heart Station” subbed by a Hikki fan. Thanks for the subs. ^^
