Everyone’s crazy over the Nanyang Polytechnic scandal that involves a female student’s recording of her lovemaking with her boyfriend being distributed over the internet by her rival. The doubts I have about this issue are pretty straight-forward. Would anyone with a proper thinking will contemplate on doing such a thing? My friends and people around me are telling me that teenagers nowadays are very daring, so it’s not unusual. I confess that I’m a simple minded person. If they want a memorable recording, they could have did it with a proper video camera. Even if they don’t have a camera, they can upload the video into a computer. Anyway, the girl rival who distributed the video deserves to be shot on sight. Well then, on second thoughts, she did a good job anyway. She was jealous by her popularity in school and kudoes to her, the student is now so god damn famous around the world. Great job, bitch…

I have to say that I’m so welcomed with kids till they try to bite me. Yes…BITE ME…Today, Julian(The McDonald boy) came down with his father and….younger brother Justin. Julian and I was talking about stuffs when his younger brother kept stepping on my shoes and trying to ram me down. I didn’t retailate till I finally can’t stand it and tickled Justin. Then he was trying to get my attention while I was talking with Julian again. Suddenly he bit me on my right arm. Luckily, I was wearing a jacket and there was a mark of his teeth formed by…..saliva. And the little devil ran as far as possible. If he didn’t run, I could have unscrewed his limbs from his sockets. I COULD. This reminds me of Stanley’s little brother anyway. He also belongs to the same species. Except he wasn’t as agile as Justin.

It’s kinda sad to see people to be at loggerheads and degrade themselves in a way that I kinda pity them. All the acting, ignorance, indifference and conspiracy are a joke to me anyway. What about their own friends? What about their own lives? Are they their only friends? Are they very lonely? I’m just glad that I still have my trustworthy friends that have been with me since young till now. Although there are problems in interacting ever since the ruckus started, they are people I know. I hope they will forgive each other. And furthermore, my Xbox 360 depends on them. ^^:

Payday later! I’m going to get myself a pair of running shoes as planned. Anyone have a brand and model in mind? I also need a mate to train with. Thanks AhSiaKia for agreeing to join me but I have to pass on that. I would probably be demoralised than motivated with that taut body of yours. Leave it for the ladies hor.

I finally passed the gift to Valentine although it was four days late. Glad that he liked it. It was tough to decide on the size as the measurements were different from Giordano. So I used my own body as a gauge. ‘Cos he wears one size bigger than me. ^^ I also spent some time looking for a design he will favour. ‘Cos he has quite an extraordinary taste. I made a slight mistake though…Well, I wrapped the gift upside down. Hope you didn’t notice. The others gave him a DS game which he wouldn’t be playing till he gets a DS in March.

After work yesterday, I went back home to celebrate my sister’s birthday. She was pretty delighted when she saw the cake and present. Well, I got her a mp3 player as she kept hinting me ages way before her brithday. Thank you, Creative and thank you, Ken. I burnt a wonderful hole in my pocket. But then, if it can make her happy, nothing matters.

Utada Hikaru’s new single is out and it’s called “Keep Tryin’”. I saw the music video and I can say it’s the most beautiful ever done. It’s the last music video to be directed by her husband. Being the last video, a lot of props and efforts are used to create it. Inside the video, Utada is inside this town made of coloured paper and she can be seen portraying many roles. Like a policewoman, school girl, receptionist, office lady, air stewardess, waitress, political candidate, train conductor, street busker, weather reporter, bar hostess, lonely woman and finally herself. The song itself is quite catchy and as usually it’s in her own style of R & B. It is also meaningful as it relates to us that there are many possible opportunities for us unless we keep trying to fulfl our dreams. The music video is mentioned to have some references to her past music videos but I only see two so far. One is the part you see a boy placing his hand on a display window where there’s a dummy doing the same thing inside. It resembles the part in Final Distance where you see Utada portraying a boy and a girl reaching for each other whose both are separated in a glass chamber. The other one is the part where Utada the office lady walks past an aisle of working men which resembles the part in Passion where she walks past an aisle of drummers.

Yesterday, I was chatting with a friend who’s quite worried about which poly and course he will be posted to. He did average for his O levels and he’s trying to go for design courses. I mentioned to him that if he can’t go in, he can keep trying. Maybe go for the private schools. Like NAFA for example. But lately, I heard from a friend working in there that they are rejecting a lot of appeals or applications due to weak portfolios. Even if you fail, you can also try again. No matter how old, we can just keep on trying and trying. Just thgatyou know in your mind that you did your best and no regrets. Listen to “Keep Tryin’” if you are in doubt. LOL.

I think it’s time to get a new pair of running shoes soon. After seeing the new Cheng Kai, I’m SO motivated to lose weight. Nah, he have grown fatter….

I can’t think of a better term to describe what I think of my workplace. Well, it’s not the place looks weird but the people that patronise it. My regulars. My juniors. There’s quite a number but here goes.

The first person that jumps into my mind is this loud guy. And also his trio of classmates. Okay, I believe his name is Weixiong if I didn’t hear wrongly. Well, for a first timer, I believe anyone will get very pissed off by his arrogant and sarcastic behaviour. He will talk very loudly in the shop and pretend that he knows every book on the shelves. To my female colleague, he’s a walking disaster. LOL. But to me, I am used to it. Everyone is different anyway. Then there’s his friend Kenneth who is a hell lot quieter than him. He will always apologise for any form of ruckus Weixiong created. Well, he’s a cool looking guy anyway. I do wonder why girls are not swarming after him anyway.

Then there’s this Andrew who works in a watch shop besides Heartland Mall. He seems to be an enigma to me as he knows a lot of stuffs. Maybe an otaku in any way. He is a generous guy too as he will return favour no matter big or small in form of a treat. But to me….too generous. Till a point I’m thinking he’s trying to hitch on my female colleague. A dinner treat just because we opened up a box of trading cards for him to choose from!?

The next guy…well…I forget his name but he works as a ironsmith. He will always come looking for new books and trying to have a conversation with us. He’s a fast reader for a start. He could have finished reading Naruto in just a day. Well, he’s another person that I think he’s hitching on my female colleague as he’s always around when she’s around. And oh yah, he recently dyed his hair to make himself look more younger.

There’s another trio to mention about. There’s a tall guy inside who came everyday buying every single volume of Kyo. Ever though after finishing collecting the entire series, they will come to take a look or buy stuffs. The tall guy will never fail to smile at me when he enters or leaves the shop…..Creepy huh? Well he seems to be a pleasant guy. His clique is also nice to talk to.

Due to the reason that my secondary school is quite close by, I get my juniors coming in to shop. It’s great to see how the school has progressed. There’s always groups that will crowd an area making a lot of noise. Bad habits die hard huh? LOL. There’s a few I talk with and I told them that I was their senior. Somehow, I actually thought of joining the school’s alumni. Ha….

Next are my Magic the Gathering guys. Well most of them are pretty chatty to begin with except a few that still reminds cold. I love to chat with them in a bid to get them to buy more stuffs. And also I’ve been doing that to learn new friends. I remembered chatting with a regular who’s older than me and he kept on talking till I was literally flattering him. It was hard to refuse him. Sales were at stake. LOL.

There’s still quite a number to mention about like Brandon’s look-a-like. He sports the same hairstyle, the same figure and almost the same face. I almost believed that he was the real person on first contact. Then there’s this Hei Ren look-a-like too. Well the taiwan host and ex-basketball player, Hei Ren. He sports the same hairstyle, the same skin colour and the same figure. And he plays basketball too. There’s this kid who always kinda overeacts. I believe he will be a good actor or comedian when he grows up. Not to mention McDonald boy, our future Lee Ang? LOL. And Daniel who stalked me and whose also my Dead or Alive punching bag.

See, people are quite correct when they say it’s a jungle out there. You don’t know who or what you will find. ^^

I’ve been seeing red. So much of it till I gonna strike off red from my favourite colours. But then I don’t like red anyway. Are roses cheap lately anyway?

I’ve also been seeing doubles. Couples walking together side by side. I feel so….alienated. I just feel so much to disappear in that situation.

Looks like we have a future director on the making. The McDonald boy wants to be on par with Steven Spielberg. Ganbate ne, boy!

Well, seems like this new skin is much more cleaner than the last. I don’t like so much brown anyway. So it’s here to stay till….I…have…time….to….decrypt….the…skin….

Before I start on this entry, I wish Valentine a Happy Birthday and best wishes for your incoming examinations. It’s not a usual thing for someone to have his birthday and his name related to this special day.

Well, what does Valentine’s Day really mean? Somehow, from my observations of my young customers, it’s not only a day for lovers but also for people who want to impress their other half. It is also a day where friends can gather and exchange gifts of love and friendship. Just like my hordes of juniors who were literally flipping my shop inside out to find a perfect gift for him/her. And when I say my juniors…I really mean it. Two of them happen to be a couple in the same school and class and they are currently in Secondary One. Which will mean they are underaged. And oh my gash…they were holding hands like all other ordinary couples. I know it’s common and I don’t have to be a country bumpkin. But it….just…don’t feel right somehow. I will sincerely hope the two of them will last forever.

Today I also know that you can actually get married in Maple Story. That’s why the cash cards were selling like hotcakes. Everyone wanna get married on Valentine’s Day. This reminded so much of the wedding proceedings in Final Fantasy XI. The female character will get to wear a special white gown. Everyone can come and watch the wedding. Yeah, just like a real wedding. But I prefer those in Final Fantasy XI. Well, not everyone can go into the cathedral in Jeuno. LOL.

Yesterday, I tried to search for my primary school friends through Friendster but I could only find one. All of a sudden, I feel a urge to see them soon as if I might not have a chance later. But it’s been on my mind. To see them once more. Maybe I will try Multiply.

Well, it’s been three days after the O level results had been released. Daniel did pretty well so I guess it’s gonna be a bright future for him. But I understand there are people who ain’t so lucky as him. Like me. I tried again but still failed. I realised where had gone wrong and most of all, it wasn’t possible for me to go on. But in my heart, I know the flame never dies. I didn’t regret wasting my time anyway. At least I did make a effort and not to hope for miracles to happen. We make miracles and miracles don’t just happen by wishing. Life is short although there always seems to be a lot of time for anything.

Hmm…I’m in a dilemma on what to do on that day. It’s a month away and I’m already feeling uneasy. Time to drag the guys out for some major decisions.

Well, I don’t know what hit me today to type the above. But it kinda sums up how I look at my life. Or maybe it’s due to the reason that a lot of people will be making lifelong choices later. The O level results are out. For me, I didn’t have much of a choice back then. Tried but failed again. So all I can do is wish all the people and Daniel who will be collecting their results later all the best for their futures.

Well, it’s almost a custom for me every year. And there’s no way I can evade it. Especially when it’s a matter of life and death. But then…I had this year’s under control.

To make everyone’s life easier, I proposed steamboat for reunion dinner this year. And eventually the steamboat will last for a day or two(Somehow, it does happen…). And who shall not forget the chocolates, nuts and confectionery waiting to be consumed. This time, I cut low on them. Why? Last year, I was so indulged till I lost my voice for a day. You can imagine the amount of medication I downed to get my voice back….

It’s common to get sick during the Chinese New Year season. The queues at the clinics are almost the same length as those queuing up to buy Toto on Monday. Well, I reminded myself not to left things undone before Chinese New Year so I messaged Daniel for a game outing at X-Square on Friday. He arrived there when I was still at home issening pigs. Well, it was not that I had forgotten but he arrived a lot earlier than planned. So I arrived there 30 minutes later….and I saw him waiting patiently. Oh, I know why I don’t see him at Kovan anyway. He got transferred to Suntec. And he looked different than usual…maybe minus the uniform and adopting a more trendy haircut and wearing street-casual. He claimed he was with his friends then something happened that he was able to arrive earlier. Well…pretty suspicious huh….Anyway, after beating the crap out of him, we parted as he received a call frm his mother which the latter asked him to go home on time. After that, I went GameScore to get DJ Max Portable…and the usual suspects were there. LOL. Then I met up with Stanley and we went back home together.

After work the next day, I met up with the guys for a pool session then a movie. Fun with Dick and Jane. Not a moment be bored with Jim Carrey around. Well, not to spoil everyone, it is a movie that kinda portrays a human’s tolerance when he/she is put in dire situations. As in this movie, how does Jim Carrey resolve his difficulties and differences. Throughout the whole outing, Stanley was showing signs of depression. Well, it’s not that I didn’t talk to him about his situation but it’s just that some people are stubborn to admit their mistakes and repent. It’s already good karma that he got into Ogawa but he’s just not contented. And I heard a bad new from Kenneth. Konica Minolta is going to be absorbed by Sony and most probably…there will be retrenchment.

I finally picked up time to start watching Gundam Seed Destiny after I can’t get my Full Metal Alchemist discs to work somehow….Then I heard this song Fields Of Hope which I also heard it from a cosplay event through Rika. It’s been a long time I’m actually touched by a song ever since Getsurenka.

Okay, time for my beauty sleep(Why I start talking Animal Crossing????). And as usual…will try to renovate. I know it’s pretty dull but there’s coffee for everyone. LOOK! LOOK! A cup of coffee in the middle!
