Hair Raising

Ah…it feels so great to listen to some piano tunes while drinking a cup of hot tea and allowing my body to lie still on the chair. A simple form of relaxation maybe. I guess it wouldn’t take long before I start to doze off. Well, quite a priceless way to spend my rest day.

Brandon just introduced me a site that features all the Final Fantasy songs and tunes and I got some tunes off it like the one playing now. I have to admit that the piano is the greatest musical instrument ever made and pianists are the most musically talented people around. From the great old Beethoven to the young and energetic Maksim. Flight of the Bumblebee blew me away when I heard it off the hands of Maksim. I guess he’s good at typing too…. Imagine 300 words within 5 minutess? LOL!

A bit on work, I’m back(I wished I wasn’t back…) at Mustafa after 5 days of reliefing at Compass Point. That place is totally heaven unlike my hell. Talk about able to do something rather that to watch emptiness. The people there were great. Time flies fast when there’s work. And also watching Jarome too. Jarome is a 2 month old full-time staff there. He’s sixteen but he doesn’t look so. Being in puberty, he does what every guy loves to do around that age. Admiring himself at the mirror. Well, he is quite handsome(Surprisingly, he’s unattached…), have a basketball trained physic, have a unlimited amount of energy, wear the uniform like a fashion icon and did I mention he loves his hair? He dyes his hair in 3 colours; blue, brown and white(Still got some black hair…). He claims he used to keep long fringes but he was ordered to cut it short. He would stand in front of a mirror and examine his hair by checking strands by strands. I always make fun of him telling him that the mirrors are cracking. My female colleague also claims he have nice hair. Seriously, he have the assets to be a model but he just need to grow taller. Well, he’s sixteen… Youth ah!

I think I have a new song in mind. Urgh…so much things to take care. I think I might need a vacation again…LOL!

The Dark Side

Let me clear my throat for a while…

* SCREW YOUR CAR! YOU FAGGOT PIECE OF SHIT, SON OF A BITCH AND CERTIFIED GAY FREAK!

Please excuse my sudden outburst of extraordinary vocabulary… ^^:

Ok…yeah….I got a new job. This time, I will be working in Bossini and I hope(Uber super desperately hope) it will not last a lifetime. But then, I was impressed by the recruitment procedure. Things have changed ever since my last job relating to fashion in Lawman Jeans. Woah, it almost like being a contestant in a quiz show. Seems like I passed the trial by experience.

On the job itself, a higher expectation of the staffs are required. Now, we must groom ourselves to match the fashion season for example, for ladies, if your shirt is in blue, your make-up must be in blue too. I haven’t see a rainbow-themed promoter yet. They also send staffs for courses to improve their standards of customer service and personal grooming. All these are very benefical to the staffs indeed but the payroll doesn’t prove likewise.

Oh ya…seems like I’ve been missing the theme of today’s entry. Guess where I’m stationed? It’s very close to Jalan Besar…close to Little India…a half a hour trip from GameScore…..

MUSTAFA @ SERANGOON PLAZA…..
BROTHER…WHY THERE!!!

(Repeat *)

That place is a TOTAL HORROR. P-e-R-i-O-d….

I have never(God damn NEVER…) felt so stressed. It’s not that I’m afraid of the dark or the infamous body odour. Okay, I just simply show my everyday routine.

  1. Arrival.
  2. Cleaning session.
  3. Folding mayhem.
  4. Lunch.
  5. Folding mayhem reprised.
  6. Dinner.
  7. Folding mayhem reprised again.
  8. Home Sweet Home!

Notice what’s abnormal? Where are the customers!? I purposely shift to Gear 2 of my folding speed to make the day pass much faster. Okay, I may have exaggerated. There are customers….a minor few to mention….too hard to miss them visually unless I’m blind. I also have tourists whose country doesn’t place English as a spoken language obviously. Met Thai, Vietnamese and of course “Orh Lang”. I was so happy to see a few Caucasians. Most of the time, I almost attempted sign language. Really….A-l-M-o-S-t….

Luckily, I have good colleagues. Really…real…good. My mentor teaches me the ropes till it’s almost like a nag. My other staff is a wandering chit-chatter. And my part-timer is a cool kid(Although he’s nineteen but don’t look like one…). Gals….don’t hope….attached. Or else, try and rape him in Temasek Polytechnic. LOL

This week, I’m spared from the boredom by reliefing at Compass Point. Did I mention that I feel so happy being there? Being busy kills time. Definitely. Confirmed. Guaranteed plus certified seal.

(Thinking of ways to blow up someone’s new car…. Hope it’s insuranced….)

Hot And Tired

Well, I kinda had some kind of a workout today. It was the normal rise and shine at 10am in the morning. Somehow, I had a hunch that today was a bad day to come.

After getting thrashed at X-Square, I walked all the way to Park Lane then back to Dhoby Ghaut then Orchard and finally back. Why did I have to do so much walking? Erm…I was looking for the AXS machine. For some reasons, I needed to find one of the consoles. During the walk, I was already pouring with sweat and my legs were beginning to give way. Forfeiting the search, I bought a cup of Big Gulp from a nearby 7-11 and started walking to Youth Park for Singapore Street Festival. It was almost like hell there…. It was an outdoor event and the sun didn’t fail to make my shirt dry.

Going into the event, this year seems much into visual kei or gothic. Of course, the rock and J-Rock bands jammed the place up. There’s a particular local band I set my eyes on. Well, the last event I saw them, they named themselves Mayfair. This time round, Elysium(Hmm..-_-… of all names…). The harmonic teamwork and the excellent vocals of the lead singer. I also saw some of the GamerSquare dudes there, ClubSnap folks, the Narutards and of course Valentine with his D70. He was screaming of thirst as he forgot to bring his water bottle. A short sip of Coke doesn’t cool much of the “warmth” we were feeling at the event. Oh, I also saw Joey(Lord Angelus) in real life for the 1st time there. Surprisingly, she talks almost like Thomas and they were chit-cahtting happily. Hope sparks do fly. HA~~~~

After the event, I dropped by GameScore. JL and Fishy were trying to complete Namco X Capcom as usual. Jimmy, Ronald and Brandon came when the shop was closing. Well, Deli, Jaclyn and Vearn were going to clean up the new shop and we offered them our help. We also moved stuffs from the old shop to the new. Valentine and me didn’t help much as we were dead beat from the afternoon torture. After that, we had dinner then it was home for me. I took a cab as I wanted to get home ASAP(Shagged…) but it didn’t help much. The roads were completely in a serious jam as 2 accidents occured. I was stucked in a point for about 30 minutes.

I need to catch some sleep now. Got appointments with Adam and Matthew. Oyasumi nasai!

So Long, and Thanks For All the Fish

I just came back from Orchard, watching this show called Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. I can tell you that it’s freaking funny and it’s totally out of this world. One of the characters in the movie plays a major role in giving me laughing workout is Marvin.

(But nobody listens anyway….)

Marvin is a prototype robot built with a technology called “Genuine People Personalities” or GPP in short and has a brain that’s “a size of a planet”. But the shortcoming of him is that he’s kinda deeply depressed as he seldom gets a chance to use his knowledge.

(But nobody cares anyway…)

Other than him, the show has many other amusing elements such as the sperm whale, the missing dolphins and of course…the mices. Earth can be destroyed and rebuilt again as in the movie “Earth MK-II”. And not to forget the poor crabs that always get squashed or pounded to death. The doors that sigh “Ahhh….”. The system called the Infinite Improbability Drive is a laugh gas blast. Once it reaches infinite improbability, the ship, Heart Of Gold, will pass simultaneously through every point in the universe. Unfortunately human beings are badly accustomed to not travelling at normality and can be fairly distressed by events around them whilst the improbability drive is working: losing limbs, turning into penguins, planets spontaneously becoming fruitcakes, nuclear missiles metamorphosing into sperm whales and bowls of petunias, and so forth. The best has to be becoming a ball of thread. LOLX!

(But nobody listens or cares anyway…)

It seems that the books will give a better picture of the world in HGG. Thanks to Ben who sent me the e-books. Oh ya….good luck to your enlistment! ^^

Flirt Up Your Life

Well, it’s gonna be a long one tonight.

I have tried the Sims 2. Playboy Mansion. Leisure Suit Larry. Nothing makes me shocked in awe unlike Singles 2 Triple Trouble.

Okay, you play as Josh who moved in an apartment and got to know this woman called Anna. Along the way, they courted each other and had a stable relationship until they broke up due to individual differences. In this new game, you must try to win Anna back by moving into a new apartment which belongs to Anna’s roommate, Kim. Well, I think you get the idea. One is not enough, how about two of them? Other than the main characters, there’s this bartender, Magnet, who I managed to court him in the game… -_-” Ok, now that’s getting hot. LOLX.

Going into the gameplay, it’s a Sim clone undoubtedly but with a twist. Sexually actually. You don’t get to woohoo a character easily. In case of doubt, woohoo means to have sex in Simology. You will have to adjust to the character’s emotions and use the proper methods to court. You will start off single at the beginning so how to enjoy while striving to get the ultimate goal of this game? Well….you can actually…ma…erm…give yourself a….self-service. In a crude term, your characters can wank themselves off. Wanking…increases your character’s Erotical meter massively. Well, I just have to find a way to remove the censor squares…erm. Enough said. (^^,)>>

Well, I just watched the last episode of Quill on cable just now. Quite a touching end. I used to have a Pomeranian but due to unforseen reasons, I had to left it go. Not too bad actually…at least I still have my rabbit. ( ^^,)

Time to sleep! If anyone expect something tonight, sorry to disappoint you!
