Time for a recap Part II

Damn, the computer at work sucks totally. Luckily, I have access to the net so I tried out MSN Web Messenger since I’m not allowed to download anything. Hey, being able to talk to friends while working is cool but distracting either.

I seems to have a problem getting things in check. For example, this blog. Don’t worry, you wouldn’t get to see Part III. Tentatively….

Have you imagine being in a room of guys and you are the only one that’s out of shape? My last trip to the pool is a good example. Well kudoes to those who have good genes and high metabolism. Just 2 days back, kitsura, Brandon and me were having a discussion on body types. Ectomorph, endomorph and mesomorph. A quick check at the mirror….erm…hmm…I’m a mesomorph and a lazy one to be exact. Thus I can say I’m a endo-mesomorph too. Seriously, I’m looking for anyone who can motivate me. Northlanders only. ^^

The months of November and December are killers to gamers. We just celebrated the arrival of Halo 2 and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and here comes Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater and World of Warcraft. Well for MGS3, it’s quite a new sensation to me because for this game is as close as reality. Any rustle of grass or sound will alert the soldiers and I’m a sucker for it. Looks like I gonna need the guide again…

Should I or shouldn’t I? Final Fantasy XI or World of Warcraft or both?

Time for a question again. Please post your answer in my comments.
Q) How do you define a person as an outcast?
a) Someone whose presence is a hindrance to you, your kins or your peers.
b) Someone whose behaviour and opinion differs from you, your kins or your peers.
c) Someone who left a bad impression on you, your kins or your peers.
d) All of the above.
e) Others(Please state at comments.)

Time for a recap

The past week has been quite happening to me. Other than playing Halo 2 non-stop, a couple of human issue took place as well.

First thing… Halo 2 rocks! A very good effort done on the storyline that captivated me to play to find out the ending. But still, I suck at FPS. Well, I wasn’t born to be able to play all fighting games. I guess I’m more suitable for aerial battles like my Banshee battles. ^^

Secondly, each individual have his/her own favourites or principles. When two individual of different thinking meet, a conflict is bound to happen. This also applies to communities. For example, A likes green but A do not like pink because pink looks gay while B likes pink but B do not like green because green looks dull. Both start to accuse and crititise each other. Hmmm…I wonder….what result can be obtained from this conflict? The answer….NOTHING. Well maybe A and B will be plotting against each other pretty often. Has ever the word “tolerance” appear in their mind?

Take five for a question: Define the word “Fan-boy”.

I have seen tactics performed by my friends to get me into network marketing. I’m quite amazed of their prowess….results from the brainwashing? Well, a similar case happened. Or maybe I did expected it to happen but yet I followed along due to peer pressure. He invited me to attend a church service and had been telling me that the event was in the night. On the day itself, he asked me out for breakfast. Upon seeing his attire, I sensed something amiss. He said we will be going to Kallang. That’s when I realised that he had stated the wrong timing in his sms-es. The church service was at 9am NOT 9pm in the sms-es. But since he was sincere in inviting me, I carried on. But I have these questions in my mind. Why did he still invite me even when I had told him I am not a Christian? To state the wrong timing once is pardonable but twice? The best part…the supposed breakfast was a MacDonald meal which he got a female friend to buy for me. Are these the teachings of the Lord?

I shall not say here what I thought of the event in respect of my friends’ religion.

Communication among my friends has evolved in many assets to suit my lifestyle. Well we got our trustworthy mobile phone(which we save money to pay…) to contact our friends when we are on the road or outside. Even back at home, we are still able to keep in contact via online messengers like ICQ, MSN or mIRC. But all these can’t give you the genuinity of talking to others face-to-face, heart-to-heart. And often misunderstandings may occur due to interaction of fake information. The same thing applies again…..each individual have his/her own style of doing things and it’s just a matter of tolerating again.

Being over-possessive about a gal is a good and bad thing. The good part(all people love to hear the good stuff first…) is that it will appeal to the gal that she wouldn’t feel insecure in the future and she matters a lot to the guy. The bad part…you are uncertain about this relationship, so it’s time to think if your feelings for this gal is true or have dampened away with time.

“**** gets the lead”

Wooo…just played a few rounds of Halo 2 on Xbox. Well it’s indeed a game to pick up. And actually it’s really so much fun to play with a lot of people on LIVE.

Just 6 hours before, I went to GameScore to pick the game up. Well, doing the usual stuffs doesn’t kill much time and JL seems to be having a mood today. Seeking refuge becomes a game all of the sudden. Well luckily, we actually spend noble time there helping out Deli in all kinds of stuffs.

Hmm, I guess today must be Deli’s happiest day. This midnight launch consists of eight retail shops involved but GameScore gets the highlight of the event. Not to mention Brendam, WCG Halo champion, to boost awareness. And as a added bonus, Deli actually catered food which in fact not a necessarity. I guess the most happening shop wil be GameScore. Just look at the crowd and we got all the top people. ^^ Not to mention, Jacky bought his own copy of Halo 2 from Deli too!

Well if you have noticed, I am feeling quite stressed up and tired. Don’t mind the inconsistence of today’s entry. ^^

Reflections

Hooray! Blogger’s back up! (Fist UP!)

Yesterday I have an enjoyable time on Xbox LIVE. Other than the lags, everything went well…..well, added a few couple of kills to my total score. ^^

Recently, I met up with a primary school friend. Well actually we stayed quite close to each other but I rarely seem to have no chance to see him around. We talked and he was beginning to show interest in what I have done since we last spoke. We talked about our old classmates…well, the usual stuffs like does he still keep in contact with others, how’s life and etc. To me, I have to say my best memories are always be my primary school’s. I guess it’s them that developed my dedication to my friends.

Well it’s actually kudos to this guy Edmund. He’s supposed to be the smartest kid in class and he’s the most creative when it comes to rubber games. Remember the erasers in the past? One side printed with a country’s flag and the other side’s green. He will create this game that each player was assigned with a piece of eraser and some Health Points. What you have to do is to fling or flip the eraser onto another. The angle or the position it landed depicts what kind of moves you are using. The most interesting part about him is that he actually gave us nicknames. Like we are in a gang or so. Well for me, I’m….*ahem*….Mommy. Up to now, I have no idea why. Talking about school friends, just 6 hours back, I saw Huimin(PepperMint) in City Hall MRT and Chee Ping(A secondary school friend) while boarding the train. The former….she still looks the same except she lost weight(Woo, a beauty!) and the latter…he gain weight and also looks the same too.

Earlier on today, Gabriel called to ask me to help him sell off his VCDs and CDs to Cash Converters. It’s been a half year ever since I saw him working in Raffles City. I have to say puberty sure works wonders on people. When I first met him, he was a part-timer in a video shop I worked at. He was only sixteen then. Completely naive and uncertain about himself. He actually got a crush on one of the female part-timers in the shop. Well they were the same age. He was adopting this nerd look which I always think that he could be better. So I advised him on getting contacts, go to a better hairstylist, etc. Well we both left the shop after. When I saw him in Raffles City, he actually dyed his hair and wore frameless spectacles. Today, when I saw hm again, his hair was longer and had a topless cap. Well he will definitely pass off as a Japanese in Shibuya.

He bought two tubs of weight gain formula as his friend commented that he will look better after gaining some mass. Which in my opinion, a total waste of money. Gabriel can just keep to an exercise program and eat right. Didn’t I mention that he was naive? Well I followed him to GNC and Nature’s Farm. And he was showing his usual “Woo”s and “Ah”s faces.

A short note, his face is very cartoon-ish. Well that’s the reason he always brightens up my day. ^^

Headache~

Well it’s been a long time I have such a splitting headache. Maybe due to the lack of sleep. Or the sudden change in environment.

I never consider myself as a healthy being. Well at least I am certified not perfect. I’m partially deaf in the left ear which means you will never see me listening to a phone call on my left or standing/sitting on a person’s right. I know there are solutions to this problem. Go for a ear operation? That will be a definitely NO. No surgical knife has ever touched my skin yet. Go get a hearing kit? Please kindly donate to this account XXX-XXXXX-X. Thank you.

A trip to Simon’s brought me to a restaurant called Captain Cook. Well…erm…I wouldn’t know how should I really categorise this restuarant as….well….’cos it’s a blend of a regular American restuarant and fast-food franchise. Well it’s cool….Western food….fast-food prices. Okay, I ordered a Golden Fish Spaghetti (which is actually a piece of deep fried fish in a pool of spaghetti) at the counter. The little girl(which I find a bit pissed off as she kinda slammed the fork, spoon and knife on the tray) asked me which table I was sitting. I went dumb for a while and randomly chose a table. Then it dawned to me that every table have a menu. Later, one of the crew sent my dinner to me. So how does this restuarant operate?

Hmm, it dawns to me now I love to use the word “well”. Well…well…well…erm…well bad habits die hard.

A bit update on my gaming. Well(:P), the same thing happens again for Street Fighter. So far nothing from my Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. November 9 will never be the same again. Oops, copyright inflictation. ^^

Today, we have a NEW president for America. And he is….the same old Bush. It’s kinda like a repeat of the Taiwan’s election. Everyone’s hoping for a new reign and ends up disappointed. It’s kinda sarcastic due to the fact that these presidents were once voted by normal peasants/people like us to be the rightful ruler of the country. Maybe this is what they call idolization. For one moment, “Energy” was the craze of the young gals, the next moment “5566″. And so forth and so on.

HADOUKEN! SHORYUKEN!

*Ahem*

I THRASHED CHENG KAI’S ASS ON XBOX LIVE!!!!

Well the game I was waiting came with a surprise. It’s a dual region game which means that it can boot on every region of Microsoft Xbox. It’s actually a bug and Capcom had actually made a move to recall all stocks JUST to paste a “Only for NTSC/J” sticker on the back…..nice move, Capcom. But then it’s the only way out since the games have already been pressed and shipped. Wooo…..it’s been a long time since I played Street Fighter III for long periods of time. Kinda exhausted.

Today was quite a short day with me waking up at a late time. Then a trip to GameScore to get the game I was waiting for. For the 1st time, I saw Fishy and his younger brother in the shop. Well I did heard what had happen to his brother and obviously there’s bound to be consequences. He seems very quiet and quite shy for a start. To someone who have met with an accident and to able to live life normal, well he is sure blessed.

Hmmm…obviously someone is not in a good mood today. Chill up, dude.

Someone brought up the issue of how his friend circle develops. At first, I was surprised that I was related as a common friend but then each individual has his/her own meter of grading people. Well I guess the problem with me is that I am a neutral person. I have friends from all walks of life. I don’t actually care whether am I trusted in their eyes but as my prinicple goes, you need help, I will offer it(If I can…).

Journey to the West

It’s been a long time since I’m back to the west side of Singapore. Well not actually….since I was in the west for Planet Games.

I went to Jurong Regional Library for a interview which also happens to have a book I have been trying very hard to find. Halo: First Strike. The ending……*ahem*……the book was nowhere to be found…..even when the search engine said there’s one not on loan…… -_-”

Fuji Ice Palace! Used to be one of my favourite haunts in the past. My ITE friends and I used to spend every Friday on ice-skating. I still remembered the 1st time I skated. Pretty…..FUN! Well maybe due to the fact that I do rollerblade, it was a breeze. BUT I still fell…well it’s still a different thing on ice than wheels.

Well the blog is pretty much to completion. Sorry for the absence of a tagboard….’cos I’m still TRYING to fit it to the sidebar. I must confess…I am a noob in HTML. If anyone can help, HELP!
